First sledding of the season!

November 10, 2012
The first big snow of the season came just in time for the weekend.  So, first thing Saturday morning we all put on our snow clothes and headed to a local hill for some sledding!  Here are Lincoln and Noah just as we arrived...

Mark and Max.

The boys anxiously headed to the hill...

Dragging their sleds up a smaller hill to start with...

Max trying to figure out exactly what this cold white stuff is...

Max's first time sledding:

Linc and Noah with their daddy.  Besides the charming subjects in this photo, I also love the mountains and snow flocked trees.  We live in such a beautiful place.

Time to try the bigger hill!

Our dudes.

After sledding we decided to just eat out for lunch - with our snow bibs on and all.

I had to include this one of Max giving Daddy a "kiss"...
That's what good Saturdays are made of.

Max's first haircut

11/7/12
Max's first haircut at 16 1/2 months old.  I was hesitant to even get his hair trimmed because I was loving the gentle curls in the back of his hair.  Here are a couple of pictures of Max as we headed in to the kids' hair salon...

Max immediately headed for the slide once we got inside (naturally)...but that allowed me to get a before shot of his curls, just in case they didn't come back.  They were all wet here from having just been combed, but they are documented nonetheless.  He also has two crazy cowlicks right on the back of his head that swirl different directions.

Max was happy to get to sit in a cool car for his haircut.

Time for the haircut!

He did great.  A quick picture of Daddy and Max.

Curls still there!

October 2012 Wrap Up!

10/2/12 Bath time!

10/3/12 Just pictures of my monkey on our front porch.

Pointing to his ear saying that he hears something (an airplane, a bird, etc.)...

I. love. that. face.

Love those lashes.  Love that nose.  Love that tongue.  Love those cheeks.

10/20/12 Sister social at Emma's house.  She goes all out for Halloween and I love it!

How fabulous was this table setting that she did for us?!

Even the drinks had darling labels.

Fellow sister missionaries from the Berlin, Germany mission.

10/27/12
Just a couple quick pictures of the boys at our church's trunk or treat!

10/28/12
One day Noah and Lincoln got into the costume closet and randomly put together witch costumes from other costumes that we had.  They came upstairs to surprise me and were sooo proud of themselves.  Note the lightsaber witch brooms...

Halloween night 2012!

First of all, a picture of our 3 Star Wars boys before heading to our friend's "Gross Dinner" Halloween party!

Here are the boys wishing Daddy a Happy Halloween since he had to be out of town at a conference...

Now on to "Gross Dinner" at Ethan and Allison's house!  Which doesn't actually taste gross mind you...

Lincoln, Isaac, and Noah...

All the kids...

Lincoln wanted a photo with the Captain Americas!

Loaded in the truck for speedier trick-or-treating (yes, that Thor is Allison)...

Allison, Ethan and Isaac with our clan (minus Mark).

Then we headed back to our own neighborhood for trick-or-treating!  Garrett (3 houses up) was dressed up as General Grievous and the boys loved it!!

It went pretty well with our Star Wars theme too (plus Jesse/Madison)...

I loved how Max just stood there and stared at him.  I kept waiting for it to scare him.  Nope.  Just stares.

Max and Mommy.

Linc and Noah with their loot.

Noah, Ellianna, and Lincoln.

The boys with Grandma after we were all done trick-or-treating.  She was a life-save to have along with us all night!
My favorite time of year!
